At an altitude of 1500m and also at 1800m, Valmeinier is a village resort that has retained an authentic character with its narrow streets, stone houses and slate roofs. There are free shuttles buses connecting Valmeinier 1500m and 1800m.

Features of the esf Valmeiner ski school resort
Valmeinier is made up of two villages: Valmeinier 1500, the village resort at the foot of the slopes which has retained an authentic character and Valmeinier 1800, a wonderfully integrated high-altitude resort.
The resort seduces you with its simple friendly and warm welcome, nestled in the heart of the mythical Mont Thabor, far from the city and the rest of the world, you can simply relax and enjoy the fresh mountain air.
Valmeinier offers a mountain village perfect for a family ski holiday and is the last born of the Maurienne resorts. As such, it has a modern quality with accommodation located on the edge of the slopes, aptly labelled "ski in ski out".
