Located at the foot of the Pic du Midi de Bigorre, the Domaine du Tourmalet, Barèges-La Mongie, offers more than 100 km of marked trails with 69 slopes of all levels, 170 snow cannons, 43 ski lifts including 3 chairlifts 6 detachable seats... and two separate entrances to satisfy all desires for stay: an authentic Pyrenean village, Barèges and a foothill village, La Mongie.
The Tourmalet area is of course the resort of all forms of skiing: alpine skiing for all levels (23 green slopes, 19 blue slopes, 21 red slopes and 6 black slopes), special facilities for freestylers on skis or snowboarding with a snowpark and many spaces of freedom adapted to the expression of all snow enthusiasts.

The peculiarities of the station
The highlight of the La Mongie station: 2 different entrances that complement each other perfectly.
First with the west slope, Barèges which combines sport and relaxation with its many thermal baths. The shepherd's cabins made of stones and slates give it a very special character combining authenticity and charm. Today, it is a place of exceptional conviviality.
Then, the east slope, La Mongie where all types of sliding are practiced, offering all the necessary comfort at the foot of the slopes. Not to mention a high mountain landscape that is really worth a visit.
All shops are close to the slopes, especially rental shops, very convenient to allow you to put on directly after renting!
