Located 30 minutes from Lausanne in the Doubs, not far from the Swiss border, the Métabief ski resort is one of the most important in the Jura mountains. Staggered between 900 and 1,430 meters above sea level, the estate extends for about 37 kilometers and stretches all along at the foot of the Mont d'Or, offering a magnificent panorama of the Alps.
A holiday in the mountains is also the discovery of local traditions with a visit to a farm, a cheese dairy or simply a ride in sled dogs or Comtois horses.

The 35 ski slopes as well as the 5 recreational areas located on the Métabief sectors offer different atmospheres and panoramas. Super Longevilles and Piquemiette are the delight of skiers and snowboarders of all levels, Métabief offers accessible skiing against the backdrop of breathtaking views. It also has a snowpark and a boarder cross track for lovers of new sensations.
Lovers of Nordic activities are not left behind since Métabief has a Nordic area totaling 73 kilometers of cross-country ski trails but also several marked routes conducive to snowshoeing, alternative step or skating, but also pedestrian and multi-activity trails.
