The search for maximum safety for children, pedestrians and skiers was at the heart of the Corbier architectural project. It was designed on the model of so-called “3rd generation” resorts, such as Les Arcs or Flaine.

Opened in 1967, the Corbier resort now offers more than 12,000 beds divided between hotels, rental agencies, tourist residences and individuals. The imposing towers, covered with wood, are called Baikonur, Cosmos or Soyuz-Vanguard. For those who do not ski, Le Corbier also offers many activities: relaxation area, snowshoe outing, cross-country skiing, snowmobile, sled dogs etc...

Features of the resort
The French Family Ski Championship is a unique competition organised for amateur families, in Le Corbier. Open to all holidaymakers (teams are made up of mum, dad and a child between 7 and 17 years old) the Championship is a parallel slalom, but above all it is a friendly and fun moment to share with your family, and on skis! you can find more information at the Tourist Office and it is free to register.
You will also have at your disposal a network of underground galleries that connect the shopping activities of Le Corbier; You can go shopping, buy a stamp, rent a pair of skis or go out to a restaurant without having step foot outside! Continually building on these advantages and with constant attention to children and families, Le Corbier was awarded the Famille Plus Montagne label in 2007.
