Located on the edge of the Ecrins National Park, St Michel de Chaillol is a family resort enjoying generous sunshine thanks to its south-facing sunshine and an exceptional panorama of the grove of the Champsaur valley, the south of the Hautes alps and the gates of Provence. The ski area consists of 10 ski lifts, 31 km of slopes at 1,400 m altitude - divided into 4.5 km, 4.5 km, 15 km, 7 km - and 22 km of Nordic skiing and a mini snowpark for surfing enthusiasts.
Beginners as well as skiers emeritus will find their happiness at ESF by booking ski lessons with one or one of the 40 instructors of Chaillol 1600. Classes are adapted to your own pace to learn with pleasure about the 600 meters of altitude difference of the estate!

A versatile resort, Chaillol offers family activities such as downhill skiing, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing as well as the practice of more "fun" sports such as snowboarding, monoskiing, sqwal or ski carving according to your mood of the day!
To achieve this, you can favor either access from the South via Gap, or from the North, from Grenoble. Access is also possible by train (Gap station on the Briançon line), by coach or taxi. For the air route, the nearest airport is Grenoble.
