What are the tests for?
Created by esf, the tests allow everyone to progress step by step in their practice of snow sports.
On the basis of a precise technical criteria, our esf instructors validate you or your child with your achievements and advise the points to be improved on in the practice of Nordic skiing.
Nordic skiing events
Biathlon
A timed course in Nordic cross-country skiing, associated with 2 series of target shots.
Performance calculation:
% allowed in addition to the base time achieved by an esf instructor opener.

- Gold (Or) : From 0 to 10 %
- Vermeil : From 10,01 % to 25 %
- Silver (Argent) : From 25,01 % to 45 %
- Bronze : From 45,01 % to 90 %
Nordic Cross
Timed cross-country skiing on a Nordic course, interspersed with bumps, turns, flats, climbs, jumps, laid out over 600 m (lasting approximately 1'40).
